2012 Sydney Chamber Music Festival this year titled ‘Just Different’ kicks off on 21st September. A key event in the Manly Arts Festival, the 5th annual Sydney Chamber Music Festival is a much anticipated music event in the cultural calendar of Sydney and takes place over the weekend from 21 -23 September at the Manly Art Gallery and Museum.
Three unforgettable concerts.
Highlights include the opening concert on Friday night with the Volatinsky Trio. You can expect Russian & Balkan-flavoured original music, played on exotic instruments from Eastern Europe.
This concert is presented in conjunction with ‘ Music in Manly’.
Saturday night we present Nick Byrne and Scot Kinmont with their nearly forgotten instruments the Serpent and Ophicleide, presenting a fantastic varied program of music old and new…
At the Sunday night concert we celebrate the SCMF 5th anniversary with Flutes and Champagne with Emma Scholl , Bridget Bolliger and David Miller.
